​Team George is a fundraiser set up to raise awareness and support for George Bertie Johnson. George is a 3yr old boy who has spent the majority of his life in hospital - firstly at a local hospital and mostly at ​Great Ormond Street Hospital. He also goes to Claire House Hospice which is local to his home. George suffers from a rare motility condition. This means that George can't eat, drink or swallow and is currently fed directly through his heart. George has under gone many operations, tests and procedures in the search of a diagnosis and to get him better. As George's condition is so extremely rare, a diagnosis is yet to be made. Even though George suffers from constant pain every day, he is always smiling and making everyone around him smile too.
